After a proven track record of seven years in the freshwater fish industry, we ventured into the colourful ornamental marine fish industry about a year ago. This new venture is closely monitored by our team of experts, particularly by a PhD-holding doctor in fish pathology and a team of five specialists who boast more than 20 years of experience in the field of ornamental marine fish. During this short period, we have been successful in maintaining a very low mortality rate of 0.1% of ornamental marine fish based on the expert advice of our team of professionals.

We pride ourselves on being the only company in the region that possesses the capability of maintaining colourful ornamental marine fish in tanks up to 15 feet in size whilst creating custom-made aquariums. Our collection boasts over 400 varieties of ornamental marine fish, and we are the only company in Sri Lanka that maintains 25 marine tanks, each 6½ feet in size, containing colourful ornamental marine fish. We use a special mix of chemicals with fresh water to adapt the marine fish to fresh water, enabling the fish to survive without sea water. This is the uniqueness of our process and the key to our success.

We have enhanced our knowledge and experience in the freshwater fish industry, culminating in professional breeding practices within the aquatic industry, with a hands-on approach supported by the advice of our team of experts.

Our infrastructure facilities are a testament to our capabilities and commitment to quality and scale. We maintain extensive mud ponds and state-of-the-art holding tanks. The mud ponds can accommodate approximately 50,000 koi fish, while our holding facility has the capacity for around 100,000 koi, guppies, goldfish, and bettas. Overall, the holding facilities are equipped to hold over 500,000 fish, ensuring our capability to meet the demands of both local and international markets. We also maintain fully government-approved quarantine facilities.

Our company’s robust financial health is reflected in our considerable investments in our facilities and the business at large. With an initial investment of around $4 million, our current market value stands at $6 million. This financial stability allows us to continuously invest in the latest technology, develop advanced breeding practices, and provide constant training for our personnel to ensure the highest work standards.
